The Banico Law Office is a full-service law firm based in Makati City, Metro Manila. Atty. Jose Mari Gerardo R. Banico
Criminal Defense Law · Labor Law
As Principal of the Firm, Atty. Banico oversees all aspects of the Firm’s operations and management. He specializes in the practice of Criminal Defense Law and Labor Law, fields in which he is now considered an expert, and supervises the Firm’s associates and administrative office. He additionally serves as legal consultant to various companies.
Atty. Banico obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from De La Salle University and earned his Juris Doctor from the Arellano University School of Law. He was admitted to the Philippine Bar on 29 May 2017.
Atty. Emmanuel Joseph Meñez

Atty. Meñez’s experience spans criminal, civil, administrative and labor law. After earning his Bachelor of Laws from the Arellano University School of Law, he served as Court Decongestion Officer at the Regional Trial Court, Branch 115, Pasay City. Admitted to the Philippine Bar in June 2016, he served with the Public Attorney’s Office — Legal Research Service, and thereafter as Commission Attorney before the National Labor Relations Commission, drafting decisions and resolutions in labor cases on appeal and presiding over clarificatory conferences.
Atty. Ramon Carlito T. De Vera
Criminal & Civil Litigation · Land Cases
Atty. De Vera practices in criminal and civil litigation, handles the Firm’s land cases, and leads its work before government agencies. He previously served as Legal Researcher with the Armed Forces of the Philippines and as Special Investigator with the Presidential Anti-Corruption Commission. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Far Eastern University, earned his Juris Doctor from the Arellano University School of Law, and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023.
Atty. John Kevin M. Serrano
Criminal · Civil · Labor Litigation
Atty. Serrano practices in criminal, civil and labor litigation. Before joining the Firm he maintained a private practice in the Province of Nueva Ecija while serving as professor of Criminal Law at PHINMA Araullo University, where he also earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science. He earned his Juris Doctor from the Arellano University School of Law and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.
